REVERIE SOUND REVUE | Pretty One Play
Reverie Sound Revue formed in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, in January 2002. After releasing an EP in 2002, the band parted ways in 2004 to pursue other callings. Lisa Lobsinger toured as a member of Broken Social Scene, and other members of RSR earned degrees in mathematics, engineering, electronics, architecture and art.
Everything about the Canadian sound is all fun and energy driven. If you haven’t heard about them yet, you can reminisce on the sounds of Broken Social Scene a lot here. Essentially the whole Arts & Crafts record has that same sound. It’s really good and we enjoy it a lot. When we were at Pitchfork last summer, Broken Social Scene (+ Lisa) were behind us while watching Here We Go Magic and it was funny that she tapped our shoulders to move up closer. Kind of cool! Anyways, Lisa’s voice is lovely and it’s very soothing. We want to share this wonderful track with you. Check it out.

Daughter- Youth
Posting this again, just because I think it deserves to be on my blog twice. I have no words. This is perfect. Instantly in love.

Santigold | The Riot’s Gone
I can’t stop listening to this song. This woman stays breaking my heart making me feel like I’m 13 again wanting to write song lyrics on my backpack in permanent marker then stay up all night crying with my headphones on listening to the same song over and over again.
